This book was written by an anthropology professor about the Passion story from the perspective of Mary Magdalen … as a Priestess in the temple of Astarte.  It is AMAZING.  And it was dedicated to J.C. (the more contemporary one), for pity’s sakes.  Amazing, beautiful, lyrical and all about re-writing the myth.
