Immanence: the Journal of Applied Mythology, Legend, and Folktale
The purpose of the Journal is to explore how mythic stories and images, characters and motifs show up today. As Joseph Campbell, Christine Downing, Ginette Paris, and other mythology experts have so often observed, myths and legends do not stay on the printed page: they recur as forms of compensation (Jung) for stresses in collective consciousness. The Journal will examine stories, legends, and lore from many perspectives, including that of depth psychology. Submissions are welcome.
