Musician, Vernon Reid, front man for the legendary rock band Living Color, recently invoked Joseph Campbell when talking about the influence of Jimi Hendrix on music. “Hendrix is like a Joseph Campbell character, a hero with a thousand faces,'” Reid said. “He went on a hero’s journey.
