Infusing Life With Story
Michiko Kakutani writes for The New York Times about Glenn Greenwald’s book, No Place to Hide.
The writer explores Edward Snowden’s personal life, offering the reader a glimpse into his ideas and inspirations. As you might have guessed, Campbell happened to play a role as one of those inspirations.
Snowden explains that Campbell taught him how to live fully. In his own words, “it is we who infuse life with meaning through our actions and the stories we create with them.”.
It seems that – just like the NSA – there’s almost no area of modern life that Campbell’s influence doesn’t find its way into.
