British musician, DJ, and producer Akira the Don is bringing the work of Joseph Campbell to new audiences through his music. His latest album, Songs of Mythology, deals with many of Campbell’s concepts concerning myth. The first single from the album, The First Function of Mythology, sets the words from one of Campbell’s lectures (licensed by the Joseph Campbell Foundation) to music.
