We’re so glad that you purchased one or more of our ebooks! Let’s look at how to download and read your ebooks on your device (phone, computer, tablet, or dedicated ebook reader)

After you’ve completed your donation, you’ll receive an email confirming the transaction; it will include a link to download your ebook. (Can’t find it? Look in your spam folder!)

You can also find the link in your associate profile. Go to JCF.org. If you’re not already logged in, click on the “Associates Login” link in the top menu. Once you’ve logged in, click on the JCF Account menu and select Donation History. When you get there, you’ll see a list of all your downloadable content.

If you are using an Apple device (iPad, iPhone, iPod, or Mac), click the download link that we send you, select “Open in…” (the icon with an arrow pointing out of a rectangle), and select your favorite ereader. If you’ve downloaded the mobi format, choose the Kindle app; if you downloaded the ePub or PDF format, choose iBooks or any other app that reads these files (there are many). NOTE: If you are downloading to your iPad, iPhone, or iPod, you may have to tap the download link twice!

If you are using a Kindle (Touch, Paperwhite, Fire, Voyage or later), click the download link (for mobi or PDF formats only). When the download is complete, click the dialog box that opens up; the book will load into your library and open in the Kindle Books app. For older Kindles, download the file to your computer, and then either connect your device to your computer and drag-and-drop the file onto the device; or use one of several techniques for  sending the file to your Kindle over the internet.

If you are using a Windows or Linux computer, click the download link. Once the file is downloaded, open the file in your ereader of choice.

If you are using an Android phone or tablet, go to the support section for your ereader app. (Sorry! There are literally hundreds of different apps, and so we can’t be more helpful than that.)

Don’t have an ebook-reader app on your computer? We highly recommend Calibre, a freeware, open-source Swiss Army Knife app (available for Mac OS X, Windows, or Linux) that can read just about any format!
